I took my 11 yr. old son to the dr. becuz he has a sore throat, fever, stomach pains. They tested him for strep, neg. it was. But the dr. said it's the start of meningitis, viral. Is that just a term they use for upper resp. inf.? I called his school to let them know he had viral meningitis and they flipped out, so i had them call his dr. All they told the school was it's not meningitis, they called me and told me it's viral, more upper resp than meningitis. So is it viral meningitis?
