You most likely don't have lung cancer. It sounds like you have a pneumonia or an inflammation to your chest wall. If you can reproduce (push on your breasts) and recreate the pain, then take motrin 2 tabs (200mg each x2) to treat an inflammation to the chest wall. If you can't reproduce the pain and the coughing continues, check in w/ your pediatrician. You either have asthma or some type of pneumonia. i'm almost 100% sure given your symptoms that it's NOT cancer.

the best thing to do is go to the doctor. Its possible to cough for a while when being sick from the flu. my guess is that you may have straind a mucle from coughing so much

Some flu's hang on a long time. I had a bad one and ended up with a cough that lasted around 4 months. You most likely don't have lung cancer. Probably just a bronchial problem. Go see your doctor if you are concerned but don't worry about lung cancer.
