Print this article. Check off everything that you feel relates to you specifically, share with your parents and ask to be taken to a different doctor.Stage 1 prostate cancer doesn't have a tumor that can be felt by manual examination.http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000380.htm#SymptomsRemember, don't stress out until you have something to stress about. But, be proactive about your health. Good luck.

Prostate cancer only occurs in older men. If your family has prostate cancer history, you have to see your doctor for annual check up when you hit 40 otherwise when you are 50. Two tests 1) the doctor will insert his finger up your anus and feel for abnormal lumps2) a blood test to check PSA levels. You are way to young to worry about prostate cancer.Good luck.

1] did he check for hernia?2] did he do a [ blood ] PSA test?3] what have you been eating lately? Could have an irritated bowel.4] When did you have your last BM? Sometimes constipation can be very painful.5] Have you started a new exercise program? Groin pulls really hurt, and are frequently associated with back pain, because you favor one side.Treatment if necessary for #3 - bland diet, lots of water.#4 - take Milk of Magnesia#5 - ibuprofen or aspirin or Tylenol for pain, cold compress if less than 48 hours, warm if over 48 hours. If you don't improve, or develop a fever, go to the doctor again.

Prostate cancer is not accompanied by any pain. You need to have your doctor check you out again if you are having that much pain. I am no doctor but perhaps you might have a kidney stone developing. Prostate cancer can only be detected by a DRE (digitial rectum exam) along with the PSA blood test. If the PSA levels are high than a biopsy of the Prostate is done and a pathologist will test the samples for cancer. Prostate cancer normally does not show up in men till late 40's or 50's. Every man if he lives long enough will get prostate cancer
