What else can I do? Acid reflux and stricture?

I have been having trouble with acid reflux and am taking Nexium and Prilosec OTC for it. I'm watching what I eat and drink. I also have an esophogeal stricture that I think was caused by acid reflux....is there anything else that I can do? I'm already watching what I eat and taking those medications! Yet I'm still having trouble with it!*meant the acid reflux....hehI have to have the stricture fixed but it's going to be a while because I just can't afford the procedure cost! Also...what's the downside if I don't get the stricture fixed? I already have trouble eating...especially really cold things.

I am in the same boat ( ulcers too) It took about 6 months on meds to make a difference and I still have flare ups now and then. Just keep doing what you are doing and be patient.
