Acid reflex does make your stomach ache, I thought that I was eating too much greasy food but when it got worse after every meal I started to think it was worse than what I thought. My doctor prescribed me Prevacid and it helped. I took the pill about less than a month and now I hardly need to use the pill. I needed that pill to control my stomach pains though. It will help you determine if acid reflex is the cause of your stomach pains. Good Luck

I have acid reflux but I never really had a stomach "ache" with it. I would get stomach acid coming back up my esophagus, especially at night when I would try to sleep. I would get heartburn and acid reflux. I was popping Gaviscon tablets like candy before I finally got a diagnosis. It didn't really matter what I ate, I would get that acid back lash every time. But no ache. I take reflux meds everyday and haven't had trouble since. Does the medication prescribed help? If not, it sounds more like it might be an ulcer problem.

I don't believe that Acid Reflux would cause the symptoms that you described. If the medication doesn't help, ask to be referred to a GI doctor. They can give you an endoscopy and find out exactly what is going on in your upper GI. Below I've included a link to an Acid Reflux info site.
