I just had sex with my boyfriend, and we were "doing it" for a few minutes in one position, when we went to change, we realized the condom had come off, and we were having unprotected sex.I just finished my last period 3 days ago and am not ovulating yet.He did not orgasm inside me during that period of time.I know that precum still has sperm in it.Should I be worried? The chances are really small of getting pregnant, But I don't know if I should take any other precautions right now to make sure. Please answer!!!

well it seems you are in safe period .Its safe until 10 days ,ovulation starts after 13-14 days and lasts for 4-5 days .But taking precaution would be better.

If you are at least 18 and are worried about pregnancy you can get the morning after pill over the counter from a pharmacy. This is emergency cotraception ( not an abortion pill) it prevents pregnancy. You should do this as soon as possible, but definately within the 1st 72 hrs.

That's very bad luck and creates a lot of annoying hassle and worry. I feel for you.Even though the chances are small, if you don't want a pregnancy, treat it as though it's an established event. You can take emergency contraception within 72 hours of sex, as other posters have said. http://www.mckinley.uiuc.edu/Handouts/plan_b_contraception.html will tell you all about what it is and how it works, just in case you wanted more info.If you don't want to take Plan B, then http://www.4women.gov/FAQ/pregtest.htm is information about how pregnancy tests work - this is more or less just covering all the bases. You should also consider any STDs that might have passed between you. With unprotected sex, you're not just sleeping with him, but also with anyone he has ever slept with (and vice versa). If you have a parental planning centre or planned parenthood, or a sexual health clinic around, then they might be able to advise you both about STDs, and also about techniques to prevent the condom coming off mid-coitus in the future. And finally, http://www.managingcontraception.com/QA/show_item.php?item=1768&type=qna is another page answering the same question you just asked with more links.Plan for the worst and hope for the best, as they say. Good luck and I hope for your sake that all the worry turns out to be for nothing.
