i was diagnosed with full cervical cancer 3 years ago aged 22 i had surgery to remove it which was sucsessful. i have been good and having regular checks as ordered (every 3 months for the first year then evey 6 months for the following 2 years then yearly for - ever) this was to be the last test in the "danger period" for me (my last 6th monthly check) and on thursday the dr has given me the news that it might be back. he's not sure so his sending me to a specialist, unfourtunantly i can't get in to see him until the 5th of dec which is a long time to wait to find out.i'm not taking the news very well and having a hard time coping. it's my first shift back at work since reciving the news and although my co workers say i'm doing well i'm feeling as though im going to vomit and pass out (i did after i found out and again yesterday)has anyone been through this twice? can anyone give me some advice on how to deal with this the 2nd time around? i am really scared. please help
