Where can I find a pregnant teen girl to donate

my baby items to? I don't just want to donate them randomly to a pregnancy center; I would like to give them to a specific girl in need. Any suggestions where I might be able to find someone like this?I live in the L.A. area (South Bay specifically)

Yep, I know one in Elwood IL... either that or you could go to the pregnancy center and ask them to connect you with one of their most needy girls. They may not be able to give you HER name, but they can give her yours.

Why not check with a church in your area, or place a small ad in the paper? I'm sure social services could help too.

you can try a womens shelter, there is always teens in need there. or like the others said a local church

There is a website that you can donate through. Ours is Bakersfield freecycle.com but you can find yours through your yahoo search engine. It is for when you want to give things away, and is a wonderful way to recycle things, keeping the control with yourself rather than through an agency. Congratulations that you want to do this. I volunteer at a local hospital in the nursery department, and there are so many girls/women having babies, but no clothes, etc for them. You might check at the hospital in your area; we are having a "baby shower" at a local church this weekend, and all new and used clothes will be given to the hospital. Just some suggestions to find, or start, in your community. Good luck.
