My wife was diagnosed with MS several years ago. Well before the diagnosis, our robust sex life started to decline. Although I didn't attribute this to MS at the time, I do now. There is lots of info for the MS patient about sexual issues and changes, but little directed to spouses or partners. I know that she tries to "act" the part when she can (she has limited disability due to MS, but who knows how her insides are working), and although I appreciate it, It is not fulfilling. She refuses to discuss this with her Neuro, which I find infuriating, but I limit my comments to encouraging her to do so. How do others in my situation cope with sex issues ??? I would prefer to hear from men, since I believe that normal sexual desire is different in men and women. Also, please spare me the cuddling and massage alternatives. If real sex without an "involved" partner is not working, I don't see these alternatives as helpful. I know that this is not her fault, but I still want a solution. Please, someone has to be in the same situation.
