I have recently dropped 25 lbs (thanks) going from 205 to 180 (36 y/o male). Goal is still 175, but I'm pretty much where I need & want to be now.I have no history of poor cholesterol readings or high blood pressure, but now that I'm at my desired weight, and plan to stay here, I thought that, pushing 40, it would be wise to get a good health check-up and blood screening of all the major things that should be checked. My question is should I wait or can it be done now? The point being that I want the tests to reflect that I lost the weight - does my cholesterol, blood sugars and all that go down simultaneously or does it lag behind? If it lags, then should I wait another month, 3 months, year?Like i said, I have no history, but know people who have had issues are told to lose weight. My question I suppose could be summed up in - at what point after losing the weight do the numbers come around to reflect your current health?
