...sling? Hi. I had a bladder sling put in by my gyno. about 7 weeks ago to hlp remedy stress incontintence. I'm 31 years old, and have 5 children. I had a hell of a time after surgery, went in after not being able to empty even a drop from my bladder at 2 days post-op and had to have a foley catheter inserted and it drained 2 litres right there in the Dr.'s office. He sent me home with the cath for 5 more days. I am now able to go, but always having the feeling I still need to empty more, but can't. Plus, I've had 2 UTI's. Anyone else had this problem(s), and how long should it last before getting back to normal, or will it?! Dr. seems not to be so worried....?
