I attended a milllitary course while under tuberculosis dosage for fear of losing such post. hi,I applied for a job just before I noticed that the pains I was experiencing was tuberculosis disease. After an interview the pains(chest pain) became more seriuos, I had to go for medical examination. The doctor insisted that I had to have my sputum tested.after test, the doctor declared that what I was suffering from was TB-tuberculosis. I started an eight month dose. during the middle of my dosage, I received the call from the millitary ministry which I had an interview with; calling me to attend the course because I passed their interview.I decided to attend the course.during the course which took us eight months, I managed to tolerate the hardships in the millitary camp.I didnt want to let them know whether I was under TB dosage for fear of losing my chance.I also managed to finish up my dose but what worries me is, the doc recommended me to perfom only light duties. but at the millitary camp I were being given heavy duties. I'm afraid of my life span

In life we have to make choices. You clearly know what yours are, and the benefits/problems associated with each outcome. It is your choice to make, not everyone elses.

Paul S. is correct. I'm not a military man, I'm a medicine man, and with your disease they was no way you were completing any military courses.

If you could manage the heavy duties you are OK. If your TB was worse you would not have been able to breath deep enough to get enough oxygen and you'd be out of breath a lot.It is strange that they didn't spot the TB because a disease like that is the last thing you want in the miltary.
