are you on any meds?like prednisone-methotrexate- the reason i ask my mom has it she had it sence she was 27 years old she walked for a while then with a cane now shes wheelchair bound shes 47. now the meds help but now she also has osteoperosis .try and find a very good rhematoligist.. who can help you theres lots of new drugs out there for this condition ..you may have too try some before you find out the one that works best for you good luck ......

I had to have one of my knees replaced because of RA. It's fine now. I walk all right. See a doctor for medications you should be taking. If you have it so bad that you are worrying about falling, use a walker. It's better to be embarrassed than breaking a bone.
