I don't recommend this type of therapy, what you need to do is sit down with yourself and figure what it is that makes your so in love with this person. Not she's hot, or he's fine. Then figure out why they couldn't love you. Were they in love with another? Were you to pushy in your approach? Do they even know you feel this for them? Sometimes unrequited love is because the other person don't know, or your too afraid to tell it. Once you do that you may see the problem and then all you have to do is face the truth. You may always carry a corner of your heart and mind for this person, and as long as that's all you do you'll be okay. It just takes time.

hypnotherapy does NOT make you forget things. that is ridiculous. if someone is ethical. stage shows are a whole other matter. this is not based on ethical behaviour. they are based on stage shows. your situation of love manque can be helped with hypnotherapy ABSOLUTELY. it can help you with you self esteem and letting go. but no therapy happens over night. there are NO MAGIC PILLS. so if you are looking for a magic pill, dont bother. we still need to walk through things even when hypnotherapy is used. make sure that you are seeing a practitioner that has more than 20 or 30 hours of training. more like 300-400 hours plus a minimum of 50 hours with practice clients. you will find that many practitioners have about 15 hours class time and less than 20 hours with practice clients then they hang a shingle. THESE PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUS. they are NOT therapists. they are potential hypnotists. be wary!!!so, the answer to your question is YES YES AND YES.to the person that absolutely said hypnosis does not work... well... she should email me so we can talk about her experience. sounds like she visited a chalatan.for more info see hypnotherapy-psychotherapy "dot" com
