Immunizations don't generally cause MS but they may trigger it. This means that it would eventually would have happened anyway. Other things that may trigger the initial symptoms are infections and heat related incidents. 90 percent of MS patients are also postive for the Epstein-Barre virus. MS patients are supposed to avoid any live virus immunizations because it can worsen their symptoms.
