I'm a senior in high school, and I have a fully loaded schedule. 2 AP classes, the rest honors, along with 2 courses taken in the afternoon at a local college, I'm feeling stressed already, and it's not even halfway thru the year. I have an essay for almost each class due next week, big tests next week. I'm stressed out over all this. I'm in the top 10% in my class, and I'm a very smart person. I know I'm not stupid, it's just hard to handle the workload. I have mid 80's grades right now, and usually they are all mid to high 90's. What can I do to manage my time and homework for all the different classes? It's so hard, I barely have any time to do anything! I feel like even if I get work done, I still haven't accomplished a single thing!

Its all in the mental pshycology. You know, you need not take any medications or pills to overcome the stress. Its all in your mind. Just relax a lot. Perform Yoga or something regularly. Maybe Yoga can help you.All the best for you in that!Thank! Hope I helped :)

Organization will be your best friend this year. Be sure and keep a calendar or planner, because I'm sure you're having a hard time remembering all of these assignments. Set aside time to study each day if you aren't already. Take advantage of wasted time: always have a book or assignment with you, and when you are waiting in a line, stuck in traffic, bored in class, or have 15 spare minutes to kill, you can pull out your work and get some of it done. Remember not to sacrifice sleep, eating healthy, and taking care of yourself, because things will be ten times more stressful if you get sick. Good luck!

You've bitten off quite a bit. This does sound difficult to handle, but it's not insurmountable. You are helping yourself to an easier time in college by taking the AP courses and on campus courses, so college life will be a bit less hectic, but what to do for now...how to de-stress? This might sound really dumb, but time how long it actually takes you to do your work and track how much time you waste. Wasting time is coming to Yahoo! Answers, checking every email, and going on-line for anything but necessities. So, open a new email account to use only for study/education related mail so that you don't get caught up in non-essentials when you're studying. Give yourself short breaks from the studying and just relax - maybe 10-15 minutes, but set a timer. Don't save anything for the last minute; do the long term assignments early so everything does not pile up. Take an occasional day as a stress-free day when you pamper yourself and put school work aside and do only what you like...maybe 2-3 times/month. Put your fertile mind to work to solve your dilemma.

I'll tell you what's been working for me. Wish I'd discovered it years ago. I found these self-hypnosis videos that take you through a deep relaxation (which reduces your feelings of stress) and then programs you at the deep subconscious level to accomplish your goals - all in less than 25 minutes . I call it my "hypnosis moments" when I see myself working tirelessly, smoothly, and without stressful feelings or thoughts to finish projects that used to freak me out. The videos I am using are by **** Sutphen and here are some "suggestions" off of his "Accomplish Your Goals" video: You are a self-condident winner who accomplishes your goals, Your life now becomes a series of successes, You are clear about what you want and you get it, You are a goal-oriented winner, You feel an intense inner drive to accomplish your goals, You free yourself from all limitations, You are filled with optimism and enthusiasm... Good Luck!
