Okay, I've been having pain/discomfort for over a month (I'm 13 so I'm not pregnant). Everything I eat/drink comes back up (not throw-up -shivers-) like indisgestion. I've had a barium X-Ray, regular X-Rays, and Ultra-Sounds. Finally, my doc put me on Prevacid which I've been on for 3 days and so far, no changes have been noticed. I was put on an Anti-Spazmotic or something and that made it worse (earlier in like, the first week). So, I'm being sent to a GI Doctor (this other doc was a family doctor) and my regular doc thinks that they'll have to stick a scope down and take a look at my stomach and/or colon. I've had constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, ocassional headaches (may be due to a bigger chest), pain when hungry and after eating, discomfort all the time, lower back discomfort/pain (I do have scoliosis but I do exercises), and extreme fatigue/weakness. I went back to school today and walking hurt really bad.In the mean time, how can I bare this and what do you think this is?BTW, when I had the barium x-ray, the tech spazzed and told someone to call my physician immediatly, but my doc saw the report and said it was fine. The tech really freaked out and was frantic, but my family doc didn't see anything on the report. Could it be that my doc is just getting too old for this or did the tech make a mistake? (according to your opinion) Would you get a second opinion if you were in my situation?Ignore that thing above this one, I meant to copy and paste that in another question, lol.I've had colon cancer in my family. My grandfather died from it.

I don't mean to scare you but I watch this show called "Mystery Diagnosis" on Discovery Health Channel and this guy had symptoms similar to yours,he had all his test come back clean, his colonoscopy was good then he found out he had colon cancer. The reason why it slipped past his primary doctor was because he didn't order the proper test at first to rule out colon cancer because the doctor assumed the guy was "too young" to have colon cancer.I'm sorry I forgot the name of the test but whatever it is called unlike a colonoscopy, it allows the doctor to see the entire colon instead of just the first 6 or 7 inches. The man's cancer was on the left side of his colon and since the colonoscopy doesn't allow the doctor to see that, side his results came back clean.I hope you get better and if you or your parents think it's more to it than what they are telling you or you aren't satisfied with the work ASK QUESTIONS you have that right. Also if you disagree with the first doctor, get a second or third opinion if you have to.EDIT: You already have a family history so I would look into that other test I talked about if I were you tell your parents about it maybe you would be more comfortable if they ask about it instead of you.
