rheumatoid arthritis? do you know someone that has this disease? I have a few questions for you that are crucial, and may lead to a cure:1) Do you or have you ever smoked?2) what is the severity level of your pain from a scale of 1-10 with 10 being completely immoble3) do certain foods make you sick?4) Do you drink?5) what age did RA start for you6) where do you feel pain?If you answer just 1 question that's good enough for me, if you can answer these questions for someone else that's good to.oh and do you take anything with nicotine, such as nicorete gum?

#1 yes #2 8 to 81/2 #3 Green vegetables, Chocolate, #4 Yes #5 40 #6 Fingers turning to the Right on the Right Hand,Knuckles on index and middle finger swell with nodules, also both my wrists, and in my elbow. My right Lumbar area is always a (helpless, hopeless, kinda pain) My left side, goes numb, and then Carpel Tunnel kicks in on both sides. My knees, feel like someone is stabbing them with a Hot knife. Rhenauds, also a big part. The cold goes straight to my bones. Can't wear some material. Will not apply ice to any part of my body. Sure there is more....Maybe this will help someone.

Yes, I have RA. I hope I'm not too late with my answers!1) Unfortunatley, I do smoke.2) My scale of 1-10 is, 1= zero pain, 10 = call an ambulance. I've been steadily falling on my scale as a result of better nutrition and suppliments! I tried NSAIDS about a year ago and hated the whole experience. Methotrexate and Prednisone, which also came with a laundry list of side effects! But I've always hated drugs.3) No, I can't think of any certain foods that make me ill...Iron stomach, I guess.4)Never drink, ever!5)I was diagnosed with RA about 2 years ago at the age of 47, however I started having mild symtoms about 5 years ago.6) The really strong pain is located in my left hip. I also get it in the left ankle, right knee, right shoulder. (sometimes). For those locations, I use a topical treatment of CMO joint lotion mixed with emu oil which stops the pain quickly! And as far as the overall treatment of my RA, I've been using glyconutritional suppliments for about 4 months. Whereas my pain was usually around a 7 or 8 six months ago, now I'd rate it as 3 to 4! I'm not trying to sell anything, so I won't mention any brand names here... Just to get the word out that there ARE alternitives to the poisons that the big drug companies are trying to convince us all that we cannot live without! I hope this has helped!

Well I've tested positive for it so I guess I'll try answering1.) no and I have no intention of it,looks dangerous2.)its usually not just to bad, sometimes like if I fall or am relly physical or the weathers bad I'll wake up sore and stiff,3.)sometimes if in the morning I drink mountain dew(usualy wat I drink as far as soda is concerned) I'll get a stomach ache for a while4.) not alchohol5.)Very young, I think they said I had juvenile RA, in which case I hope I outgrow it6.) usually in my wrists and knees, sometimes my hand area
