Not at all.Actually, for women who have MS, they find that their symptoms remit while they are pregnant and during the entire period of lactation. Following that, however, expect symptoms to return again.Scientists aren't quite sure why that happens, but a recent discovery shows that prolactin, the hormone which causes lactation, actually causes myelin to regenerate. This may be one of the reasons that pregnant and lactating women experience far fewer symptoms than when they are not pregnant.hth
