Sarcodosis is something (I am not 100% sure if it is viral or bacterial) that attacks the major organs, liver, kidneys etc.. often stays dormant in the body for a period of time. Treatment is usually steroid treatments (but there is no cure)MS is something that attacks muscles.

Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease -i.e, it are caused by the body attacking it's own cells. The cause is not known but certain viruses are thought to be involved ( not proven ).It involves the nerves and can have differing patterns of onset and progress. Since it is an immune mediated reaction, the treatment is mostly to modulate/lessen the immune respone with medication such as steroids.Sarcoidosis, on the other hand, is a totally different disease. It is a form of granulomatous infalmmation, characterised by the formation of lumps of tissue - granulomas in different organs of the body - typically lungs, lymph nodes. The cause of the inflammation is not known. So esentially they are not in the same family of diseases.
