View Full Version : miscarriage & ectopic pregnancies?
i have suffered 6 miscarriages, and 2 ectopic pregnancies (one fallopian tube removed), i thankfully managed to have one pregnancy full term, the result- my gorgeous 9 yr old. 5 of these pregnancies which resulted in miscarriage were after the birth of my daughter. i have now been unable to concieve for 4 yrs, my husband and i have had countless tests and i have tried the fertility tablets clomid. all hospital tests were clear. how come i cant concieve when obviously very fertile before. has my body had enough? very blessed for daughter, would love to give her a brother or sister though. what we have been through has been heart breaking, any advice?

You poor thing...you are obviously a strong couple to have gone through so much and yet still want to continue. Take some time out...have a holiday...relax. Our bodies act differently under stress who knows what change relaxation and a change of focus could result in.. Good Luck to you both

I understand first hand the pain you must be feeling. I understand that losing even one baby can cause unimaginable grief. I had a stillborn 2 years ago and I have three other beautiful children. I'm sure that you are thankful for your daughter, that is the most important thing. Has your Dr. ever ran a genetic test? I didn't have my problem until after two regular pregnancies. After the stillbirth of my son they ran genetic tests that showed I had a Factor Five deficiency, as well as a blood clotting issue. As a result of those tests I was able to take the right medication as soon as I got pregnant with my fourth child, and everything turned out great! If you are having miscarriages, that means you have no problem getting pregnant, you have a problem holding on to the pregnancy, or having the pregnancy develop in the uterus. Please take my advise and ask your Dr. to run all of the genetic and Hematology tests that he can. Good luck and God bless you and your family.

when trying to concieve a child you have to be relaxed, the more you think about it the harder it gets to concieve, i am so sorry about your losses, i too lost a child back in the 80's and it devastated me, so i know how you feel...if you relax and not stress over getting pregnant, you never know, you could be due sometime in August next year, take it slow, don't think about it to much, sometimes when you have forgotten about concieving, that's when it normally happens, i hope you manage it soon...good luck....
