I got pregnant one menstrual cycle after coming off the pill, but all women's bodies are different. Some take as long as six months or a year to get back to a 'normal' ovulation/menstrual cycle after coming off the pill.

I have been off it for eight months now and I am still not pregnant. Birth Control makes me sick to my stomach and I gain weight...

on my first child. It took one time missing taking the pill. All of our bodies are different. It also depends on what type of contraceptive you were taking.

Four months after going off the pill. The medical community will tell you it will take 6 months to a year for your body to regulate itself. I took my Basal Body Temperature and used ovulation kits to ensure that my body was regulating itself.

during a foolish part of my life, and don't get me wrong, I think pregnancy is a wonderful thing because there's nothing like a beautiful baby cooing at you to make you smile, but at the time, I was with a girlfriend who wasn't healthy for me and obviously I wasn't healthy for her, but the day she ran out of pills and forgot to get more, was the day she got pregnant from our *actions* so like other people have been saying, I think it depends on the woman, but with my ex girlfriend it took a whopping 1 day. and I was supportive of her being pregnant, then a few months later, she aborted, I don't run from responsibilities, I would have stayed, but this isn't about me, its about you, and all I'm saying is 1 day to several months to years to possibly never... I've heard around that contraceptive pills can cause permanent damage to the female reproductive system, don't worry too much, as I said, its just hearsay.
