...disorder? I am really interested, I've tried a lot of things, so far COG therapy has been the best, im a lot better than I used to be but I would like to compleletly rid myself of it. Any one with personnal experence would be great. Oh and please nobody saying "you can not get rid of anixiety", I dont want to hear it, negative thinking like that is what keeps you from getting any better.

I have an anxiety disorder. I have tried several things - meds DO NOT work, but I'm sure you already know that. I don't believe in hypnotism because I don't believe in giving control of one's self over completely to another person - it causes you to lose power over yourself and to lose your decision-making abilities (even if it is for 5 seconds I would not want to give another human total and complete control over me for my own physical and emotional safety). If you want a permanent fix: there are some books by Mel Fish Ph.D. (Don't let the word "books" throw you off - they are are easy reads and very helpful. They're not the normal boring psychology books.) In his books and programs he talks about finding and releasing what is causing the anxiety so that you do not have to deal with the anxiety anymore - solving the real problem instead of just trying to be comfortable with it or covering it up. It is a very great program and has blessed my life and will continues to bless my life. The two I use are:Healing the Inner SelfTwo Weeks to Health & Well-BeingHere is his website:http://www.drmfish.com/
