No way in hell would I terminate the pregnancy. I would like to be the one to take care of a special needs child instead of somebody who would think it to be a "headache"

It is an abortion an heck no. The child is still my baby Down syndrome or not. The only reason people kill or terminate their pregnancy of a down syndrome baby is they are selfish and lazy!

Some of the sweetest people I have known have Down's. Why is killing them thought of any differently than any other abortion. Down's is hardly a life threatening condition.

Never. Children with Downs Syndrome are just as much of a blessing in life as "normal" children. If God blesses me with a child with special needs, who am I to say "no thanks." Not to mention that abortion is murder and I simply could never commit such an act.

i have to admit there are some serious birth defects i would have to think on it about but not downs. i don't think i could terminate for anything but i would have to think about it if ultra sound showed something that the baby would not survive note not may not survive i have this bad habit of reading these horrid story's while i am pregnant such as a lady who's baby's skull did not form and the brain got fluid in it and the baby died seconds after birth if i knew it would be something like that i would catch my self thinking about it but if they tell me there is hope even in the smallest amount i wouldn't even bat an eye i would keep the baby but if i was told there is no way the baby would survive out side of womb i would catch my self thinking about it

the way i see it is yeah i would. im not selfish but i mean think of the child. iv seen the kids the in speacial ed class in my school. i see how they suffer and i had one kid come up to me and my friend cause my friend was crying and he tried his best to speak told my friend "dont cry enjoy that u have a perfect live" it broke my heart there seeing that those kids really suffer because the wish so bad to have a normal life. it would kill me to see a child of mine go through the same pain as these kids do.
