...miscarriage? Saw it on a question earlier, someone said it was for a reason. What reason is that? And perhaps when a woman has an abortion, it is what is meant for her to do?

Ah yes...same thing with cloning:"We shouldn't play God""Well, didn't he give us dominion over the Earth? Also, if God didn't want us to do this, why would he give us the capabilities for us to?""Uh...well, you still shouldn't do it!! It's wrong against God!!!""And have you spoken to the Big Man lately? In person?"See...it could be used for a myriad of things. I agree, if there is a God, and if he miscarriages them "for a reason" maybe it's his will for that woman to have an abortion....ah well...I doubt you'll get many positive answers from theists here....good luck and hope this helps! ^_^

Right, and what's god's reason for sickle cell anemia. He just wanted to frustrate the mosquitoes in Africa?

Ummm. GOD doesn't abort babies. Any death is not by God's hand. Satan is the whole reason behind death in the first place. God created us to live in Eden. Adam and Eve chose poorly and now humanity is doomed to suffer death at one time or another. I do believe that the souls of miscarried babies go to heaven. God is faithful, he is taking care of all of His children, born and unborn. if anyone is to blame for death, evil and suffering it is Satan himself.

What about all of the other birth defects that happen? He wants to test our faith? Isn't that a bit unfair to the afflicted? Get a grip. And God grinned.

It's simple: because of man's sin. It's due to man's fallen nature since the beginning of time: Adam and Eve. God doesn't 'kill' babies. Miscarriages happen as a result of sin as well. Just as people are prone to disease and illnesses, women are prone to having miscarriages. We are all human and are fallible; subject to pain, sickness, sorrow, etc. - all due to the fallen nature of man. God is the Creator and thus, is the ONLY one who has the right to take away life, except for the death penalty, which He has given man the right to carry out as the ultimate punishment for murder. As the bible says, the hairs on our head are numbered, meaning that we all have an appointed time to die. Whenever our time is up on this earth, that's it.

God alone has the right to decide that there is something wrong with this baby and to end its life.Just like God alone decides when each of our lives will end.Its just as wrong for a man to end another man's life as it is for a mother to end the life of her baby.No woman has the right to end her child's life before or after her child is born.Pastor Art

God has nothing to do with itThe commonest cause of miscarriage is a genetic abnormality of the feotus. A hormonal imbalance in the mother can cause it as can an emotional disturbance. Over-enthusiastic sexual intercourse, abnormalities of the uterus, drugs and medical disorders in the mother can also be a cause. Trauma such as a motor car accident can bring on a miscarriage in what was going to be a normal pregnancy. Sometimes the cervix does not completely seal as it should once pregnancy is established. If this happens then a miscarriage can occur, generally after the 12th week.

God does not cause suffering or death. He just allows it as remedial suffering, that Mankid will repent as one. Mankind is a corporate being in relation to God. It is everybody's fault that the innocent suffer or die. Because of the sinfulness of this world, the fault of everybody, evil entered and got a good grasp. Now it sows suffering everywhere. Even if you're a saint, you can be attacked. Why? Because you are its enemy.
God is love.

In the world things happen.Should we blame God for it? Why does deceases come. Why do we loose what we love the most? Is it a testing of ones faith or is it a sin we have done? The body has a function and just like anything else it can abort a kidney or child,or life. Does it have to be a reasoning behind it? God said just follow me! We go through things we do not understand but he says just follow me. People may say that it was our fault. But God said follow me. You may lose something, but God says follow me. As people we make bad decisions and abortions my have been one of them.Yet Jesus said follow me. God sends a comforter for these storms and recovery from sins. Does it matter what is said about us? God said come to me. It is him that gives us rest.God knew it would happen and he knew already what to do. Isaiah 53. He died just for this reason. He justified our life and we are vindicated from the pain we endure.

Hi, thanks for asking. I will answer as best I can from a Christian point of view.If I understand your question, it seems you are asking whether it is fair for God to kill, and what this has to do with us having the choice to kill or not. Or put another way, I might ask: Why can God kill while we are forbidden to?Or perhaps you are merely asking the reason why God does certain things. If this is true, and you are asking why God does certain things, I confess that I do not know, partly because that question becomes very hypothetical. So then, why can God kill? Why isn't He held to the same standard as us? If He can kill, then why can't we? These questions have to do with a few things. Who is God? God is perfect, holy, merciful. He is just; that is, He judges sin. God is our Creator. God is the one that created us and set up our rules. He is not held to the rules that He set up for us to follow. Case in point: "You shall not murder." This commandment forbids murder in all its forms, including abortion. Based on this, we can conclude that it is not right for us to abort a child. We are also not to attempt to usurp authority over God. We like to think that we can predict God or do things better than Him. We want to be God. This was part of the temptation offered to Eve in the Garden: The serpent said that she and Adam would become "like God, knowing good and evil" if they disobeyed God's commands. We are prideful and foolish to think these things, because God's ways are higher than ours. We like to think that we should control our own biology and 'edit' the world as we see fit, whether it means hurting other people, dishonoring God, or whatever. Is God wrong when He judges sin? Or is He wrong when He has mercy on one person and not another? In essence, isn't God free to exercise His own will in whatever way He wants? The answer to the last question is yes. We know that He is good. We should not question His motives, because His mind is higher than ours and entirely pure. For Him to be wrong would be a contradiction to His character. By contrast, it's entirely easy and common for us humans to mess up.I apologize that I cannot answer this question more thoroughly. There is more that I could write, but I do not know if you will receive what I have already put here. I can't know because this is just Y! Answers, not a continuing dialogue. But if you would like to continue this discussion, send me an email. I will get back to you if and when I can.May God bless you.

"What we 've got here is a failure to communicate."When a woman miscarries, did God do an abortion on her? If a man dies of a heart attack, from a moral perspective that is quite different than if he had been shot to death by a carjacker. That distinction also exists between a miscarriage and an induced abortion. There are many things which God is allowed to do that man is not allowed to do. The refusal to accept that reality is the basis of the pro-choice mentality. http://www.prolifeamerica.com/prolife_answers/All things legal are not in and of themselves representative of all things moral, ethical and of good character.First, there is a difference between a naturally occurring miscarriage and the choice to kill an unborn baby by the hand of a human.Misscarriage; a lay term describing spontaneous loss of pregnancy before the middle of the second trimester (20 weeks). (After this point, the event is labeled a preterm birth because the baby is capable of life outside the womb, with support. ...http://www.laborcompanions.com/definitions.htmThe moral fiber of a nation can be seen through the eye of it's laws and the treatment of it's unborn. Before killing an unborn child, the abortionist must first determine how long the baby's mom has been pregnant. Only by determining how long the baby has been alive can the abortionist choose the most effective method to kill it.Pregnancy is divided into three trimesters. The first trimester lasts through the 12th week. The second trimester begins at week 13 and continues through week 24. The third trimester is the remaining time until the baby is delivered. For each trimester specific methods of abortion are used. The most common first trimester abortions are vacuum aspiration and suction curettage. Vacuum aspiration is performed with a machine that uses a vacuum to suck the baby out of the uterus. The vacuum is created by a hand held pump (manual vacuum aspiration) or by electricity (electric vacuum aspiration). The electric machine is far more common in the US. Generally, the manual pump is only used to kill children who are less than 6 weeks old. Except in the very earliest abortions, the mom's cervix will be dilated large enough to allow a cannula to be inserted into her uterus. The cannula is a hollow plastic tube that is connected to either the hand or electric pump by a flexible hose. As a vacuum is created, the abortionist runs the tip of the cannula along the surface of the uterus causing the baby to be dislodged and sucked into the tube - either whole or in pieces. Suction curettage is a variation of vacuum aspiration in which the suction machine is used to get the baby out, with any remaining parts being scraped out of the uterus with a surgical instrument called a curette. Following that, another pass is made through the mom's uterus with the suction machine to help insure that none of the baby's body parts have been left behind. "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition." (II Thess. 2:3)The Devil, master of all things evil, proagator of all lies, never gets his hands dirty when trapping man in his dastardly deeds, and his deeds are always directed at creating confusion and discord among men, including God's church.Society has legally killed, murdered, 48 MILLION unborn babies since Roe vs. Wade, for profit, and the killing continues at more then a thousand per day. In addition 348 known women have been killed along with their babies in America's death camps during botched anortions.Today, abortion is justified by claiming the killing of babies is "safe and legal." Dr. Michael Jackson, an abortionist and clinic owner said, "I just go by what the courts say. I only do what's legal." These were the same justifications used by doctors who participated in the massacre of millions at Auschwitz. Zyklon-B, the poison gas used to kill the Jews, was seen as helping to alleviate suffering and permit "humane killing".Abortion is commonly referred to as a mere "procedure" or "minor surgical operation" and abortionists are often called "service providers." Compare this to the Nazi death squads called "special service groups". The IRS lists Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinic operators as "charitable organizations" engaged in "promoting health." Compare this to the official name of the Nazi organization for implementing euthanasia, the "Charitable Foundation for Institutional Care."In addition, the tissue and organs of victims were frequently harvested for further experimentation. The same, of course, is going on in America today. Abortion clinics supply the medical establishment a virtually endless supply of human tissue that would otherwise be unavailable. Pharmaceutical companies and research hospitals all pay top dollar for organs, limbs and tissue from aborted fetuses. We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population…" Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood"The campaign for birth control is not merely of eugenic value, but is practically identical with the final aims of eugenics." Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood"[D]emocracy will soon degenerate into an anarchy, such an anarchy that every man will do what is right in his own eyes and no man's life or property or reputation or liberty will be secure, and every one of these will soon mould itself into a system of subordination of all the moral virtues and intellectual abilities, all the powers of wealth, beauty, wit and science, to the wanton pleasures, the capricious will, and the execrable cruelty of one or a very few."-- John Adams (An Essay on Man's Lust for Power, 29 August 1763)Opinions are a dime a dozen, lack of truth is very costly.Make it a great day!
