About a minute after I got the meningitis and...

...tetnis shots, i got woozy, light headed and couldn't walk..? It felt like i was really high or something. This also happened last time i got shots from the doctor, but it wasn't as bad. Any ideas what this could have been? ...I got extremely woozy, everything turned bright, and i couldn't control my muscles.the shots were meningitis and a tetnis booster shotI wasn't anxious at all while I was getting the shot... and shots definitely don't make me nervous or anything... i was out of the hospital by the time it kicked in.

Doesnt sound like it is from the vaccines but your anxiety about getting them. This happens to some people. What did your doctor say??

It's a delayed shock reaction from the experience. Next time it happens, find somewhere to sit down, drink some liquid and wait it out - you could faint, and falling down is never fun.I have a friend who used to come and give blood with me - neither of us were scared at all, but one time she just fainted for no apparent reason. It happens. The thing to do is stay calm and wait out the reaction.
