so my friend has been really stressed because she's pregnant she was working for about a month and now she is too far along in her pregnancy to work so she can buy all her babies needs. Shes going through alot and asked for my help she is a citizen she is 17 and her parents dont get paid enough to help her out with much.what are her benefits.thanks a bunch

maybe she should ask the father and his family for some help. this is what i hate about teens..... we're so stupid!

She can get WIC, EBT (food stamps), and even a monthly check, possibly even housing (if she needs that) and there are programs to help pay power and water bills, if she falls in a certain low income bracket. Tell your friend to go to the county Department of Social Services, or she can contact the health department to get information on how to apply.
