Coming off the contraceptive pill?

My girlfriend is taking a break from her pill due to going on a 3 month course of anti-biotics and has been off for almost 2 months - what is the minimum period of time she should stay off it for before she notices a difference in terms of her moods, emotions, sex drive? I.e. all of the things that the pill can affect?Should have also said, her doctor advised her it may be worth coming off the pill as the particular anti-biotic would make her pill ineffective, thus would require other means of contraceptive anyway.

she should return to normal in 3-6months. she will probably notice changes in mood within 2 months and her sex drive shouldn't really have been afftected but that should return to normal within 2 months as well. in terms of her periods, they should return to normal in 3-6 months. but in extreme cases upto a year
