kidney problem?

I went to my doctors the other day for a check up as i was feeling unwell, tired, stomach pains, faintness, hunger, weight loss. He said that i would have to go and get a ultra scan? and that my kidneys were enlarged, why and how could this be? Thanks for any answers

I think you mean Ultrasound scan - could be many reasons, kidney stones, diabetes, infection etc. Some Urine infections can spread to the kidneys and cause pain and inflammation, he may well be sending you as a precaution to ensure it's nothing worrying before giving you antibotics, try not to worry, good luck.
