im tired of paying money for my Acid reflux is there a cure? Doctors tell me just to keep taking the Acid reflux medicine for the rest of my life

Mark you need Harvey.Diamond's Fitforlife..it works..I use it when my stomach acts up...go to his website..and you can buy his book or even go to the library..they might have it..good luck..

Well caffeine will cause acid reflex..STOP drinking caffeine..Sodas and juices with citric acid will cause the problem..and don't eat before bed....

Honestly the best thing is to take 1 tsp. of baking soda with water works eveytime. Also last the entire day unless you eat a couple of jars of tamatoe sauce or something. I promise this remedy will work. Works for me and my reflux is almos comepletely gone. You also can take more baking soda if needed.

There's no cure. Once you've got it, you've got it. Eliminate spicy and acidic foods (foods with tomatos, citrus juices). Basically go to a bland diet. Tums will help, but you really need those reflux meds unless you just want to deal with the chronic heartburn.

There is a better way and it is very little money. Although you may not it, here it goes...- Buy normal red wine vinegar. - Every day, take two tablespoons of that vinegar (yeah, disgusting, I know, but this is better than the real pain of acid reflex!) - You will see improvements in very little time.Don't believe me? Try it and see for yourself. You have nothing to loose!Good luck!

just a note on the baking soda cure..... remember the medicine they made for this is targeted to keep your cells from making so much gastric acid.. the baking soda effect is systemic , meaning all through your body. it is ok to take some once maybe twice in one day but people who take too much could screw up the acid / bace balance of their blood. that , is way more expensive to fix than buying the medicine.

no no .Never take it because the medication is suppose to oppress the body natural acid from the stomach; thus in order to counter balance, your stomach actually produces more acid. So stop it, silly.
