bite my finger. not my nail. Kinda hurts. It's a bad habbit that runs in the family.
My honest answer won't help you, so I'll lie and say exercise.

I either blow my top or cuss, then I try to relax, which isn't easy because of how high-strung I am.

Nobody can manage stress completely, stress has a way of taking on a life of it's own sometimes. Thank God for drugs, especially Valium in times of stress :)

I don't. I am a worrywart, and I fret constantly. Even when I sleep, there are nightmares. Some can "manage" it; some of us get beaten down by it. I'm in the latter category. Many of my illnesses are stress-induced. Thanks to 20+ years in the printing business (10 at a newspaper), my body and mind have no conception of relaxation. Maybe after several more years on Disability, I might start unwinding, but I gravely doubt it. I envy stress-managers! If you can do it, that's great!

well, i manage to accept it as part of my academic life (and personal life) and then i use it as a kind of motivating and driving factor for me to finish whatever i do and i never let it slow me down. i guess it helps me when i keep things written down in my planner, and i also keep a diary where i pour my heart (stress included) out. i can't believe that at this young i experience stress, and i am now a little anxios, and in a way anticipating to know what more stress-related problems i'll encounter, so i manage stress in a way that it won't engulf me or control my life. stress is fine with me. the more i have it, the more i know that i'm getting older, more responsibility to take over, the more i know that i can tone it down and not let it control me. the most i can do is just live with it, then pray it won't kill me. =)

It is better to prevent stressful factors!! When you see trouble coming, run away before it catches you....If it does, take deep breaths and start rationalize. Only our mind can fight shadows in out heart. As, only our heart can fight shadows in our mind. And talk to a friend. Precious.

I listen to Baroque Music: A Concerto Grosso is the remedy for me. Vivaldi or Corelli.

I usually do kick boxing, cursing or profanity in the shower afterwards, dark chocolate, and sex. Those are the ways I use to manage my stress.
