I honestly didn't think teens wanted to get pregnant. I thought it just happened on accident when it broke.....

Because they're stupid and they think they know everything.

Teens are most known for rebellion. So if a teenager thinks he/she has bad parents. Raising a child will make them think they will be better parents.

i dont necessarily think teens feel the need to get pregnant. i think teen pregnancies are more a consequence of lack of protection. teens are generally too scared to go get birth control or condoms for fear of their parents finding out. maybe a lack of education on how to use these forms of protection is also to blame. combine this with the fact that the reasoning part of the brain isnt fully developed during the teen years and that their hormones are blazing.... you get preggers.

there are teens who feel lonely, abandoned, or unloved and believe that having a child will fix these problems. of course, that isn't true but there are some out there that think the love from a child will be unconditional and will fill the void.

Boogie, " the quality of your questions will determine the quality of your answers"I'm not sure this is a good question. It assumes they have a need to get pregnant. they don't! You can find information about teen pregnancy, lost of information, just google it. Change the question to: What are the circumstances of teen pregnancy? How early? Are they in good relationship at home? Are they getting pregnant in a loving relationship or just occasional sex? Are they aware of birth control methods? the list is big. pick a better question.
