My sister has Crohn's, and she gets sick when she eats beef. If you are like her and your iron is low, try eating pork instead. You'll probably still get cramps, but won't be as bad. Take care of yourself.

hi mystical, i've had Crohns since the age of 12. I've never had problems w/beef at all but that will vary in each pt. What one person can tolerate, another may not.have you checked out the crohns & colitis website? you can find tons of information on there regarding treatments, diet, exercise, coping w/IBD, and even locate a local support chapter.Also, they have a toll free number and a live chat M-F 9 am - 5 pm that is run by healthcare professionals who know all about IBD. hope this helps.
