...throat and his stomach hurt and he has a fever and his eyes are really? red i think he may have pink eye and strep throat and the flu, which someone in his class had. I have nothing for it and we don't have any drug stores open and the clinic isn't open today, what should i do? I don't want his sister to get sick.

Isolate him. Let him drink lots of water. Bring him to the doctor right away. I'm a doctor but I'm not allowed to post prescriptions.

take your daughter to grandparents or even next door neighbor, its never good to have a healthy child and a sick child together ecsepcialy if they share a room=]

if you have some vapor rub, rub some on his chest and a little around the outside of his nose. If not give him some 7 up at room temp. and have him eat some saltine crackers. That should help some. Hope he feels better soon.

Keep the sister away from him. Dont let the fever go up. If it does. keep putting wet cloth on the forehead. In case, it crosses 104 F, put ice pack on head.Always keep paracetamol (crocin, or whatever brand name in your country ) handy. If your son is too young and can't swallow pills, then you get syrup containing paracetamol. This is a non-prescription antipyretic. It can only reduce fever, but cannot cure flu. For cure of flue you need to wait for nature to help you. He should take a lot of bed rest. When doctor is available, get flu shots for your daughter and you all.

Until you can get medicine keep him comfortable. Make sure he is getting plenty of fluids and try to get him to eat some soup, something soothing for his throat. None of these things are life threatening, but if he has a fever you should probably take him to the hospital.
