symptoms? I hada pap done at a doctors office I had never been to before. I'm 3 months pregnant and in the ER with massive bleeding. Found out there is a blood clot in the placenta. Anyway, this doctor did a pap test and called yesterday to tell me I needed to come back there and have a colposcopy done. I asked for the records to be faxed to my ob's office so she could look at them and i would have it done there if I needed it. The nurse got really hateful and told me to have it done in her office, then they could send the records. I asked her the pap results and she said it said "cannot rule out invasive cervical cancer" and she said that was all it said. huh? isnt there usually a grade? my last pap was normal one year ago, i also had a normal one this last april 07. Can invasive cervical cancer develop that fast? I have NO symptoms other than normal pregnancy stuff. Now I'm waiting for my records to reach my ob but I'm scared to death. Was that nurse just trying to scare me into going there?

The one thing that all cancers have in common is that there are no symptoms. On top of that you are pregnant. Lots of hormonal changes are going in your body. It is normal to be scared but the sooner checked out the better.
