Could be many things. Anything from a kidney stone that injured you but you passed, it could be a UTI, could be from an injury to your back..... Once is not a concern, even at 66. Keep a look out though... Frequent blood in urine can be very serious.

It means you need to go and see the Doctor. He will tell you if it is anything serious or minor.

Thats really serious...a sign of kidney stones, liver damage or even cancer...go to the doctor right away and have blood and urine tests done! The sooner you know whats wrong the sooner you can be treated! Good Luck!!!

You could have a urinary tract infection or swolen prostate.Go to the Dr!!!!Symptoms can be similar except with a swolen prostate you do not get the foul odor from the urine. But be warned the foul odor is not always a symptome for everyone. I am female and I get constant UTIs. And don't believe it is a Feminine thing... MANY men get them also.Symptoms of a UTI:Burning or pain while urinatingBlood in urineCloudy urine (lot of protine)Foul odorFrequencyFatiigueWhen you go again in a few minutes even tho you feel like you desperately need to go.. nothing but a drip comes out. This can worsen and divelope into a Kidney infection of not treated. You can look up prostate problems On Web MD www.webmd.com

It means you should go to a doctor. You actually saw blood in your urine once, but there may be blood cells in your urine that you can't see...called "occult blood". Since prostate problems, urinary tract infections and kidney disease as well as bladder disease can all cause blood in the urine, there's no way to know what's causing it unless you go to the doc. However, it's possible this means nothing serious, so don't take chances, okay? Good luck.

Have your urine tested asap. The white blood cells are not as noticeable as the red ones. I agree with kidney trauma but that is a layman's answer. You need a professional answer.
