Depends on the birth control. Some make you stop, some make you bleed more (IUD) and some dont change your cycle at all. Even if you take the shot, spotting can be normal. Talk to your gyno if you are worried. :)

it depends. everyone's different. my gyno said that it could be lighter than my regular "flow" or exactly the same as it was.

Birth control is supposed to regulate your period, not stop it. Sometimes you get clots, though. For me, the bleeding lessened alot.

it depends on the birth control. if its the pill...you should only bleed from the time you stop taking it...until you start again. again, if it is the pill..maybe the one you are taking is not agreeing with you & you should check it with the doctor.

I don't think you should be bleeding at all. Occasionally a little spotting, but not full on bleeding. Does this happen each month? Have you been on this particular birth control very long. You may need a higher estrogen birth control pill. Keep track of the bleeding and tell your doctor. He may want to have you try another brand.

I believe that it varies. Depends on the person. On my 5 day I bled alot when I was on birth control.

On Depo-provera it really depends on your body. It can cause depression, weight gain (20 even 50 lbs), bone loss and it can cause you not to have your period or it can cause you to have your period everyday that you're on it. It's really one of the less healthy forms of birth control. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist and visit the Depo-provera website for information. http://depoprovera.com
