Moving quickly after being still, whether laying down or sitting then standing, can cause dizziness if you have low blood pressure. This is VERY common if you are active or excersise regularly.

This is called orthostatic hypotension .I agree that the first thing to check is your fluid balance, make sure you getting water, not coke, soda or coffee, but water, so that you have enough blood pressure to keep circulating fluid properly around your brain when you stand up.
