does anyone else think the birth control where you only get 4 periods a year scary. im seeing a doc soon to get on birth control--i just dont know about this kind. its like not normal. could there be negative effects with this birth control. wont you mess your body up by not having your period once a month like your supposed to...

Anything Other Than Natural ,will Have Some Negative Effect On Your Body, You Must Decide Which Effects Are Worth You Being Sexualy Active Now Instead Of Waiting Until Marriage.

umm....to me that doesn't sound very safe...i mean just considering that when you are having your period what is happening is that the uterus is shedding the lining because that is a normal healthy function of the body....and while altering a natural function of the body this extreme just doesn't seem good to me. My girlfriend still experiences SEVERE and maybe even worse pms, she is on this birthcontrol you describe, even though she is not suppose to have a period but 4 times a year. i dunno, she does have bad mood swings so you might want to get on something that is going to keep you regular and healthy, but whatever you choose i am sure you will use your better judgement!! good luck

if you have depression the health clinic i went said birth control pill can make people feel more depressed even suicidal check with doctor near your area to make sure that there is no bad side effects

Well, menstruating about a dozen times a year isn't natural either. In the past, women seldom had periods because they were either constantly pregnant or nursing. I'm now in my late 40s and I wish my periods would stop. I can no longer get pregnant and there are no health benefits to menstruating. In fact, menstruating regularly can make some women become anemic.
