so i am going on the pill, probably a higher dose since im sexual active, and now since my boyfriend is the only person i sleep with and have slept with, we have talked about not using condoms anymore, but i dont know if i feel comfortable about him not pulling out (mainly because i dont want a kid right now), should i not be so paranoid since im going to be on pill, or should he still pull out to add a little bit more protection against pregnancy?

I'm on the pill right now and it has worked for me. I'm on my 4th package or month, my husband doesn't pull out anymore and i have not gotten pregnant. You have to start taking the pills and at least wait till the 2nd month of using these for your bf to stop pulling out because you want to make sure that they're already in your system. Just have him continue to use a condom. Either way... it will further help prevent the pregnancy. If you don't want a kid Birth control is going to help, but it isn't going to rule out the possibility of pregnancy.

Use a condom for the first month of being on the pill after that you are ready to have relations without using a condom and without pulling out.Just keep in mind not all stds can be noticed right away so as long as you feel comfortable that your partner is sleeping with you only than the pill is a very reliable source of birth controll taken as directed. ( Do not miss a day).

The pill is not 100% accurate. I started taking the pill as soon as I had my daughter because I was not ready to have another child anytime soon. I have taken my pills for 2 years and didn't miss one and I am now 5 months pregnant. So don't rely on the pill completely!

if you are on pills then you are 99. something% protected. and if your boyfriend uses condom it adds up to the protection. You can choose the pill over condom since condoms have high failure rate.
