first month of pregnancy.? i've taken two tests both said negative but im afraid that i took them too early, but i have this white stuff coming out of the bumps on my nipples, it's not like liquid it kinda looks like when you pop a pimple but trust me their not pimples. i think im pregnant and i just need to know what it looks like when you first start lactating. at first it was clear and now its white and its really thick.

i didnt start to produce colostrum(the stuff you make while your pregnant, milk comes when the baby is born in case you didnt know!) until i was 13 weeks, and it comes out of my nipple, not the bumps around it! the first sign that i got when i started to produce was that my areola got darker and grew a lil in diameter, then i started to get a little bit of white stuff from the nipple. mine isnt liquid yet, still dry stuff. take a hpt to find out if you are pregnant, i wouldnt rely on what my boobs are doing!

They're Montgomery or areola glands . . . Glands of Montgomery are sebaceous glands in the areola (of the nipple). The glands makes oily secretions (lipoid fluid) to keep the areola and the nipple lubricated and protected. if they get smelly or worse you need to see a doctoryou lactate from the Nipple , i have had 3 pregnancy's and on # 4 and ive never done this or lactated during my first 5 months . I do experience what you are when im not pregnant . they are like little pimples and when you squeeze them stuff comes out , you may also have little blackhead type things around the outside of you nipples. it has nothing to do with pregnancy :)
