No. I think it all comes down to a person hearing just the right message for what they need at a given time in their life and a change may be perpetuated. The message can be heard at church, on a talk show, in a book, in a dream, from a friend, from a parent, a psychologist, teacher...so on. We should all be open and aware to all of this.

I think so..it is SOOOO unbelievably saturated, I'll say that much. Just be careful of your sources. Go only to the best- e.g. Anthony Robbins. However, even him...why is he any expert?? Only YOU know yourself best. They can advise, but ultimately you know what you need and how to improve your weaknesses, but the most important thing is to focus on your strengths. That gets you the farthest. This culture is too focused on our negatives and putting ourselves down constantly. That is on purpose because of the advertising industry- you are ugly! Buy our cream for 19.99! Good luck :)
