View Full Version : Hypnotherapy to help stop overeating??

Hi I have an appointment to see a hypnotherapist tomorrow to hopefully help with my overeating problem. Anyone tried this and what were the results???

I have heard it works great. A friend of mine went for smoking and he hasn't had a cigarette in 10 years :) Let me know how it works, I would like to try that :)

Self-discipline is a better cure than hypnotherapy. If you WANT to stop overeating, then do it. eat fruit salads for lunch, maybe some oatmeal or non-sugary cereal for breakfast, and pasta for dinner. exercise every day for at least 45 min, and you'll lose weight. our ancestors did not get very fat and they did not see hypnotherapists.

i just got off a cruise with a hypnotist onboard. my sister,18, went on as a volunteer during one of his shows and "went under" with ease.the hypnotist, at the end of all of his shows and seminars, was selling his cds and my dad got his "get thin" one.it has great reviews. i got the cd for pain management (i just had mcl and acl knee surgery)in two days its worked wonders.you have to want to be hypnotized for the hypnosis to work. and it will if you want it to! wanting the hypnosis to work will also work hand in hand with wanting to change your lifestyle!best of luck!

use self control if you have the willpower you can do it yourself without wasting money at a therapist's office you just need a little self control to help yourself.
