Have you lost weight with hypnotherapy

I haven't lost weight with hypnotherapy, but I know 3 people who quit smoking through hypnosis and they were all heavy smokers prior. Two of them were my friend's parents who had smoked as long as I'd known him (since childhood) and they quit a few years ago. The third was an older woman I worked with who swore by it and said that after hypnosis, she never even considered a cigarette again. I quit smoking by myself, but I can't say that. Anyways, I guess the techniques are the same with just different ends intended.
