You need to take your dog to the Vet! Never give it human medicine without consenting a VET!!!

I have given my dog "people" medicines before but now without the vet telling me to do so. There could be a serious problem causing the animal to have reflux and it needs to be check out by a vet.

I am definitely familiar with human acid reflux, yet i have rarely heard of dogs with it! Does the problem occur after your dog eats? Research around or ask your vet.. Here are some websites I hope they help!http://www.vetinfo4dogs.com/dvomit.htmlAlso check out this page of someone who had the same question as youhttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20060621082312AARirPLI hope your dog feels better!

My dog has Acid Reflux & the vet said to buy her pepcid. We've also used Tums & they seem to work too.
