I want to do a colon cleanse to see if my

acne clears up, but I'm scared. Help? I have had severe acne for almost 8yrs, nothing has ever worked and I'm tired of trying new creams. I want to try a colon cleanse because I hear it can help clear out your colon and get rid of acne-causing toxins in your intestines, but I am really scared to try it on my own because large amount of fecal matter are gonna come out and what if something goes wrong?

um did a doctor recommend that?! that sounds a little gross to be doing at home! I think you should ask an acne specialist/doctor, and let him persribe something! but if your want to do the colon cleanse, then go ahead, don't be too scared!good luck!

haha i know it sounds scary but it really isn't. My mom did a colon cleanse and it was actually the best thing she ever did. She lost weight, she had more energy, her skin was less rough, her face looked healthier...all around it was just a good deal. Nothing usually goes wrong because all you're doing is cutting out solid foods from your diet for 5 days (in most cases)...all you do is drink liquids, and if you already drink liquids on a regular basis, then you have nothing to worry about = ) Hope this helps!
