What my chances of getting lung cancer?

I am 26 years old and just quit smoking two days ago. I know that's not very long but I am very determined to make it. I started when I was 18 years old, so I smoked for 8 years. Assuming I quit now and never smoke again, what are my chances of ending up with lung cancer still?

well, at least you quit. since you didn't smoke for long, there's a possibility that you wouldn't GET lung cancer. other than that, i think you just ask a doctor :)
