Rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide!Make sure you don't drink it though, lol.It will sting a little, but it totally works.

Putting clove oil on the tooth helps some. I've had friends put BC Powder directly on the tooth. Most dentist will prescribe Motrin, 800 mgs, three times a day until they can see you. (Which is 4 tablets of regular ibuprofen). Do not take more than 3200 mgs per day though.

I sure can understand what you are going through, all last week I was suffering from three bad teeth, the pain got so bad, my wife literally drove me to the emergency room, they gave me a prescription for pain medicine percacets, because acetamenaphen just wasnt cutting it, but they didnt give me any antibiotics, but the dentist did. oragel aint worth the money you pay for it. the pain pills did more good than anything, but even it only worked for like maybe a couple of hours or so. more if I got some sleep and slept through some of the pain. there is no quick sure fire way though im sorry.

if the pain is due to an infected nerve, pain meds will work to relieve some of the pain temporarily. You need to see your dentist ASAP to get it checked out or it could end up ruining your whole weekend. If you call your dentist may be able to just call in pain meds and an antibiotic to help. Avoid putting anything too strong on the tooth as it can burn your gum tissue. Listerine is not a good idea. A cold compress on the outside may help if you are feeling throbbing.
