Hello!I would appreciate your help. It happened to me a couple of times that about 4 hours after I had dinner I felt terrible in my stomach...my head hurted me and I felt like I didn't digest good. It would finish with vomiting. Really annoying problem because I am not allergic to anything.Anyway, my question is, why is that happening and the next day, what should I eat to calm my stomach?Thanx guys :)

Could be Gastritis - get along to your doctor and see if you need some Rabeprazole (20mg). here are also a lot of thigs you could get from the chemist, but please see your doctor first.

Could be a really high fat meal...that will cause overload. Was it a meal with lots of dairy? Lactose Intolerance has been known to show up unexpectedly, and also dissappear just the same, due to body changes, stress ( i had it in college and i LOVE cheese), etc....As far as to settle your stomach...follow the BRAT diet (made for kids, get it?) anyway, Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast. Those are all things that you can eat that are light on the stomach and will settle you down. Anytime you have upset stomach or the runs, this will work...

It could be that you have a gastic (tummy) bug and you need to stop eating for a while just drink plenty of fluids until settled. It could be you may be eating to much or to quick for your tummy to digest properly. It may be the type of food you are eating to much fat or acid in food will make this happen. It may be because you were eating to quickIt may be the time you are eatingIt may be what you were doing before ie excersise. You may have a small ulcerTo be honest the list is endless and you need to go to doctor to get yourself checked over. Keep a record of what you have eaten when this happened and show it to doctor as this will help a lot also what you were doing before eating and time you were eating.Your question should not be what to eat but why this is happening do go to doctor as it is not right to keep doing this.In the meantime avoid acid foods and fatty food also dairy products as this can cause the symptoms you say.

Some gastrointestinal diseases can be seen and diagnosed with the naked eye, such as ulcers of the stomach. A peptic ulcer is a sore on the lining of the stomach or duodenum (the beginning of the small intestine). Peptic ulcers can be caused by bacterial infection with H. pylori; Peptic ulcers are not caused by stress or eating spicy food, but these can make ulcers worse. The most common symptom of a peptic ulcer is a dull, gnawing ache in the stomach that comes and goes for a period of time. The ache occurs 2 to 3 hours after eating or in the middle of the night when the stomach is empty.

Can't diagnose the problem, i also suffer with stomach problems, best remedy i've found for nausea & to stop vomiting is Andrews, it's similar to Resolve. If your worried or it starts to happen more often go straight to G.P & get check up
