No cats have different germs then we do.They can give it to each other but we can't get what they have and they can't get what we have.

Every year--every month, actually--new strains of viruses come along with new strengths. Flu is usually capable of jumping species, while cold and bronchitis are not. A mutation in a strain could allow either of them to jump species, though.
Cats can not get a cold from you.

No, but if you have a ferret they can get the flu from you.Ah...and "colds" aren't from cat or person getting cold, that's an old wive's tale. Diseases come from bacteria and viruses, not the weather.
